Protective is seeking a Receivables & Billing Accountant to support the Asset Protection Division through comprehensive AR and billing activities. You will apply payments, maintain accounts, analyze receivables, and assist with month-end close and reconciliations, while collaborating with internal partners and external stakeholders.

This role offers exposure to revenue-related accounting and financial operations within a collaborative, high-performing team. Located at the St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin or equivalent.
• Experience in accounts receivable, cash application, collections, or related finance function.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial systems; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply and reconcile customer payments and research discrepancies.
• Maintain customer account records and ensure billing accuracy.
• Analyze receivable activity and support collections efforts.
• Process and reconcile cancellation and funding transactions.
• Prepare journal entries and month-end close schedules.
• Support audits with documentation and inquiries.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to improve processes and controls.
