Job summary

ScanSource is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst I to support reconciliation of customer accounts, dispute research, and deduction resolution, contributing to cash flow and customer satisfaction.

The role develops foundational AR knowledge, documents findings in ERP systems, collaborates with Sales, Customer Service, Distribution Centers, and Accounting, and escalates complex issues to senior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of Accounts Receivable, collections, accounting, customer service, or related experience.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial systems.
• Ability to learn ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reconciling assigned customer accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Research routine customer deductions, claims, short payments, and payment issues.
• Document collection, dispute, and resolution activities in systems.
• Maintain customer account records and documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Distribution Centers, and Accounting to resolve issues.
