Job summary

LinkSquares is seeking an Accounting Associate in Boston to own the full invoice-to-cash cycle and support general accounting operations. You will be the primary contact for customer billing and contribute to month-end close in a high-growth AI-powered company.

You will gain exposure to GAAP, audits, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Legal, and Finance to optimize processes and ensure accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting experience focused on AR, billing, or collections.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with NetSuite, Bill.com, or Carta is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end invoice-to-cash workflow: generate invoices, apply payments, and maintain data in NetSuite.
• Monitor balances, manage the dunning process, and resolve invoice disputes with professionalism.
• Serve as primary billing contact for customers and provide balance summaries.
• Record AR-related journal entries and assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support annual audits with schedules and documentation per US GAAP.
• Assist in AP, process documentation, and systems checks (NetSuite, Bill.com).
