Job summary

Emploive is seeking an Aquatics Swim Instructor to join our on-site Life Time facility in Michigan. You will teach adults and children, assess swim levels, and promote aquatic programs while ensuring a clean, safe pool environment.

Qualifications include working toward a high school diploma or GED, completion of Life Time courses upon hire, ability to swim 25 yards, and Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certifications. Prior coaching or instruction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete and pass Life Time courses upon hire.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods.
• Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally more than 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events.
• Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns.
• Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area.
• Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services.
