Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Swim Instructor to teach swimming to both adults and children, evaluate skill levels and maintain a safe pool environment. The role involves promoting Aquatics programs and ensuring cleanliness and order in Facilities.

The position requires working toward a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to swim 25 yards, and the completion of Life Time certification courses including StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid. Experience in coaching is a plus.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally more than 20 lbs.
• Must pass Life Time courses upon hire and maintain required certifications (Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid).

Responsibilities

• Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events.
• Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns.
• Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area.
• Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services.
