Job summary

AFF is seeking a Certified Pool Operator to oversee pool water quality and safety. You will test, balance, and maintain water chemistry in compliance with state and county regulations, and operate all pool mechanical systems.

The role requires current CPO and CPR/AED certifications, strong communication, reliability, and a safety-first mindset. This on-site position emphasizes punctuality, teamwork, and adherence to club standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CPO certification.
• Current CPR and AED certification required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, and properly balanced pool water in accordance with state and county regulations.
• Test water quality, record findings, and adjust chemical levels as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pool systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and related equipment.
• Maintain inventory and proper storage of chemicals.
• Keep the pump room and Aquatics area clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Input and manage weekly work schedule in the club’s scheduling platform.
• Stay current with AFF-approved certifications (CPR/AED and specialty aquatic certifications).
