Make a splash. Lead with safety.
A great aquatics program starts with more than a pool. It takes strong leadership, exceptional safety standards, well-trained staff, engaging programs, and someone who knows how to bring it all together.
ASI is looking for an Aquatics and Safety Coordinator to lead the daily operations and programming of the Student Recreation Center pool while helping prepare the broader ASI team to respond when safety matters most.
This is a highly student-facing leadership role. You'll directly supervise a team of approximately 18-20 student lifeguards, student leads, and Red Cross instructors, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and judgment they need to keep our community safe.
You'll also oversee Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid training for ASI employees and play a key role in safety training and preparedness across Titan Recreation.
One day, you might be coaching a student lifeguard through a simulated emergency response. The next, you're reviewing Learn-to-Swim participation, planning an upcoming program or evaluating whether an aquatics procedure needs to be updated.
You could be leading a staff in-service, working with ASI employees on CPR certification, reviewing pool safety records or sitting down with a student employee for a performance conversation.
Throughout it all, you'll be developing students as employees and leaders while maintaining an environment where thousands of Titans can recreate safely.
You take safety seriously and know that great safety programs are built through preparation, practice and strong leadership.
You enjoy working directly with students and see supervision as an opportunity to coach, teach and develop people.
You're comfortable making decisions, holding people accountable and maintaining high standards.
And you want to lead an aquatics program where recreation, student development and safety come together every day.
