Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Arkansas is seeking an Aquatics Supervisor to manage and train Aquatics Department Team Members and ensure a safe, engaging environment for members across indoor and outdoor pools. You will deliver excellent customer service and maintain clean, orderly facilities.

The role requires swimming 300 yards, treading water for a minute, lifting 20 lbs, and completing Life Time certification courses upon hire. Leadership and coaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Position Summary

As the Aquatics Supervisor, you must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will help members improve their swimming in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out. This position assists in managing and training all Aquatics Department Team Members. You will offer great customer service and maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures Aquatics Team Members offer a safe and friendly environment for all members
• Responds to member inquiries regarding Life Time programs, products, services, policies, and procedures in a professional and timely manner
• Ensures we have the highest level of programming
• Promotes Life Time swim program

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Successfully complete and pass all Life Time courses when hired
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience

• 6 months of customer service experience
• 1 year coaching and/or swim instructor experience
• 1 year of lifeguarding experience
• 6 months of head guard or supervising experience

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• StarGuardElite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge toStarGuardwhen current certification expires or within 1styear, whichever is first).For Canada, Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification and Standard FA with CPR C.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college or working towards a 4 year degree
