Job summary

The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Center Chicago is seeking an Aquatics Manager to lead daily aquatic operations, ensure MAHC safety compliance, and oversee staff and programming for the Natatorium. You will shape Learn to Swim initiatives, coordinate scheduling, and maintain strong safety culture across the center.

Ideal candidates bring five years of pool management experience, a related Bachelor’s degree, and a proven track record of program development, budgeting, and staff leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in pool management.
• Experience managing a pool facility or program with annual budget of $1M+.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily aquatic operations and safety per MAHC standards.
• Manage aquatic staff including lifeguards, instructors, and coaches.
• Develop programming and Learn to Swim oversight.
• Plan and monitor budgets and reporting for the aquatic program.
• Ensure compliance with safety training and certifications.
