The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking an Assistant Aquatics Manager for the Kroc Center in Chicago. The role involves assisting the Aquatics Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Aquatics Department, managing pool staff, and ensuring safety and compliance with established standards.

Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management and at least two years of experience in Aquatics Management. Skills in leadership and communication are necessary, alongside valid certifications in first aid and lifeguarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in Aquatics Management with a staff of at least 15.
• Must have or obtain within three months a valid Illinois Drivers’ License.
• Certifications in First Aid and Lifeguarding required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the development of programming and monitor all aquatic programs.
• Supervise all Aquatics staff in the absence of the Aquatics Manager.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure staff training.
