Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation Administration or related field required.
• Minimum of three years’ progressively responsible management experience.
• Minimum of three years in leadership roles.
• Three years’ experience in aquatic operations and staff development.
• AFO or CPO certification within one year of hire.
• Lifeguard instructor certification within one year of hire.
• Basic first aid, AED and CPR within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise volunteers, part-time staff, and contractors for programs and operations.
• Prepare, monitor, and administer budgets for aquatic operations.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and retain aquatic staff.
• Develop and review contracts related to aquatic operations.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance, and quality control across facilities.
• Coordinate marketing and events for facility programs and activities.
