Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound in Grand Mound, WA seeks an Assistant Director of Aquatics to support the Director in managing the waterpark and leading aquatics staff. Responsibilities include budgeting, safety program administration, and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• 2+ years supervising, coaching, developing, leading, and providing feedback to staff.
• E&A Lifeguard Training Program license and Leadership Training license required.
• CPR, First Aid, AED experience and certification preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in budgeting and forecasting for the department.
• Develop and maintain aquatics inspection programs.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, purchasing, and cleanliness programs.
• Mentor Managers, Supervisors and Lifeguards for career development.
• Participate in MOD program and execute duties as assigned.
• Lead and monitor aquatic safety programs complying with regulations.
• Administer emergency procedures including first aid, CPR, AED.
• Document safety/OSHA incidents and prepare reports for management.
• Lead safety committee meetings and coordinate with corporate safety.
• Instruct Ellis Lifeguard Training and assist with in-service trainings.
