Under the director of the Aquatics Director, the Aquatics Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the aquatic facilities. This position oversees daily aquatic operations, safety protocols, staff training, and aquatic maintenance while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple operational responsibilities in a fast-paced aquatic environment.

WHO YOU ARE:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to move equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 lbs. Comfort working in and around water, including swimming, performing basic water rescue skills, and maintaining balance on the pool deck. Ability to work in bright light conditions. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Frequently exposed to various environmental elements, including heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and pool chemicals. Requires consistent adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection. Potential exposure to conditions that could result in injury requiring professional medical treatment; strict compliance with safety procedures is essential at all times.
Aquatics staff work primarily in hot and humid conditions. Indoor pool areas may have reduced air quality due to chloramines and ammonia compounds produced during the water disinfection process. The noise level is typically high. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary (or Salary Range): $50,000-$55,00
