Job summary

Watermelon Swim in Florida is seeking energetic, responsible staff to join our aquatic programs. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and safe interactions with children, with a preference for swim instruction or lifeguard experience.

Applicants must be 18+, willing to travel between Watermelon Swim locations, complete CPR/First Aid within 45 days and Lifeguarding within 90 days, and submit two letters of reference. Join us to help kids learn and stay safe around water.

• CPR/First Aid training within 45 days; Lifeguarding within 90 days of starting.

• Leadership Role: Have you been in a leadership position for the last 6 months or more? Great! Full‑time experience is also required.
• Kid‑Friendly: Whether through work or volunteering, you should have at least 6 months of experience engaging with children.
• Customer Service Savvy: A minimum of 6 months in a customer service job is required.
• Preferred Experience: An aquatics background is preferred. Experience in swim instruction, lifeguarding, coaching, education, recreation, or other roles focused on teaching and developing others is highly valued.
• Willing to Travel: You should be open to visiting all Watermelon Swim locations.
• Certifications Needed: Get trained in CPR/First Aid within 45 days, and Lifeguarding within 90 days of hitting the ground running with us.
• References: Submit 2 letters of reference for consideration.
