Part-Time Aquatics Manager
A position at British Swim School is more than just a job. It’s an opportunity to be part of a mission that helps families feel safer around water. Our team teaches life-saving survival and swim skills that build confidence, create stronger swimmers, and make a lasting impact in the communities we serve. As we grow a new franchise location, we’re looking for a motivated leader who wants to help build something from the ground up.
We are launching a new British Swim School franchise and are looking for a Part-Time Aquatics Manager who is ready to grow with us. This role starts part time, supporting the day-to-day operations of our aquatics program and instructor team. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across instructor management, customer service, scheduling, and safety compliance, while also building the strategic, budgeting, and leadership skills needed to run the aquatics program at a director level.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants growth potential, ownership over a program from its early stages, and the chance to shape the culture and standards of a brand-new location.
High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
A responsible, professional demeanor with the ambition to grow
1+ years of customer service and/or supervisory/management experience.
Experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management preferred. A specialist aquatics qualification is desirable but not required.
Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred but not required — may be obtained during training.
1+ years of experience working with children.
Here at British Swim School, we are more than just a fun, surface-level swim lesson provider. We strive to make a substantial impact within our communities to combat the tragically high child drowning statistics. We invest in quality team members to teach our lessons with the mindset that we are two schools in one — a survival school first and a learn‑to‑swim school second. As a result, we can support our mission "to ensure that every person, regardless of age or ability, has the opportunity to become a safe and happy swimmer."
Each franchise location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee (franchise owner). Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. All inquiries about employment at this franchisee should be made directly to the franchise location, and not to British Swim School Corporate.
