British Swim School of Greater Harrisburg is seeking an Aquatics Manager responsible for daily operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. This role focuses on delivering swimming education in compliance with brand and safety standards, instructor management, and teaching lessons.

The ideal candidate will have an active lifeguard certification, a background in water sports, and a passion for working with children. Compensation ranges from $21 to $24 per hour, with potential bonuses and consistent hours.

Qualifications

• Active lifeguard certification or willingness to become certified.
• Background in competitive swimming, lifeguarding, or water sports.
• Ability to remain on feet in the pool for at least 4 hours at a time and occasionally assist in lifting children.
• Passion for working with kids.
• High school diploma or education in progress.

Responsibilities

• Work a combination of in-water and on-deck shifts, overseeing the aquatics program.
• Train and manage a team of swim instructors to ensure program delivery.
• Interact with customers on the pool deck during lessons.
• Teach students (as young as 3 months) and adults how to swim.
• Maintain inventory at a particular pool location.

The Aquatics Manager with British Swim School is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. The role prioritizes delivery of the British Swim School program in compliance with brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing training, customer conversations, and teaching lessons.

Pay

$21.00 – $24.00 per hour, with potential bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Train and manage a team of swim instructors to ensure the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards
• Interact with customers on the pool deck during lessons
• Set up and tear down pool decks before and after lessons
• Teach students (as young as 3 months) and adults how to swim using the British Swim School’s proven, gentle, and engaging methods
• Maintain inventory at a particular pool location
