Job summary

British Swim School is seeking an Aquatics Manager to lead swim lessons and oversee day-to-day aquatics operations while delivering excellent customer service. The role focuses on program delivery per brand and safety standards, managing instructors, and maintaining ongoing training and compliance.

You will also track certifications, support employee development, and ensure smooth daily service delivery, with a passion for safety and working with kids and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
• Experience as a swimming instructor and in management is preferred.
• Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications are beneficial.

The Position

The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for conducting swim instruction with students, day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing training. This position will also require due diligence with tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development and competency and skills.

Your Typical Responsibilities

• Teach and lead swimming lessons as needed.

• Creation of employee schedules, and pool lesson schedules.
• Address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents that occur.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a swimming instructor and teaching/management is preferred.
• 1+ years of customer service and/or management experience.
• Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid Certifications.
• Must know the four swimming stokes.
