Position Overview: We are looking for a trustworthy and loyal manager that understands and has experience in aquatics. Someone who is confident and knowledgeable in employee and customer relations, who is organized and capable of hiring, training, and maintaining a team of staff members. Job Responsibilities:

• Plans and directs an expanding and flexible program of aquatics for all groups and ages; and assists in coordinating regularly scheduled events
• Recommends the purchase of proper supplies and equipment for program operation; maintains inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies
• Inspects equipment and facilities for security and safety
• Interviews, selects, and schedules employees for planned events and activities
• Provides training, guidance, and direction to employees and plans and implements recognition
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems
• Prepares and/or directs the preparation of special reports, such as, activity analyses, brochures, etc
• Supervises the daily activities of the facilities
• Required to operate pool equipment; tests chemicals for water quality; assure all water safety methods are strictly adhered to
• Deals with customer and citizen complaints concerning the employees or facility
• May be required to complete incident/accident reports
• Completes and maintains staff schedules

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of employee management experience
• CPR/First Aid Certified, preferred
• Must have 2-3 years experience in an aquatics related field
• Passionate about swimming
• Customer service oriented
• Must be organized, professional and a team player
• This position requires evening and weekend work as well as regional travel to pool locations

Salary: $52,000-$57,000 annual pay
