Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety-minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment overseeing recreational and lap pools, both indoor and outdoor. Responsibilities include monitoring the pool deck, maintaining safety on water slides, and assisting with aquatics events like "Dive in Movies" and "Poolapalooza."

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members
• Rescues swimmers in danger and administers first aid
• Ensures swimmers are aware of dangerous swim areas and activities
• Keeps the pool area clean and safe

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• Lifeguard and First Aid Certified
• Ability to work stationary and move around the club for extended periods
• Effective communication skills with guests
• Swim 300 yards/meters continuously
• Tread water for 1 minute
• Swim and retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the pool bottom
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs routinely

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience

Pay

This hourly position offers wages starting at $17.50, up to $20.50 based on experience and qualifications.
