Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older for part-time and 18 years or older for full-time.
• Must maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool and surrounding areas.
• Rescue distressed persons and administer first aid when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.

Skills

Strong swimming abilities

Observant and calm in emergencies

Customer service skills

Education

Current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization

Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications

Ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
