Responsibilities

• Enforces preventative safety measures and provides general lifeguard services (i.e. rescuing swimmers in distress, administering CPR and first aid).
• Organizes, teaches, and supervises groups and individuals in aquatic programs and activities.
• Maintains a safe and clean aquatic environment including pool deck, water chemistry, locker rooms, showers, and bathroom.
• Ensures that all equipment and supplies are adequate and in good condition and makes recommendations for replacement when necessary.
