GEORGIA RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION INC is seeking a hands-on Supervisor for a major public swimming pool complex. You will manage daily operations, ensure safety, cleanliness, and high customer satisfaction while guiding a diverse team.

The role leads seasonal staff, coordinates events and programs, maintains water quality, schedules, and records, and serves as the primary liaison for public relations, ensuring compliant operations with local and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading diverse teams in public facilities.
• Ability to ensure safety and cleanliness of aquatic facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the aquatic facility, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
• Directly supervise a seasonal team of 15–60 part-time staff, including lifeguards, instructors, and support personnel.
• Plan and oversee routine maintenance activities such as cleaning, water quality control, and equipment checks.
• Organize and lead staff training and in-service sessions focused on safety and emergency preparedness.
• Coordinate and supervise swim meets, special events, and community programs.
• Handle administrative duties including staff scheduling and record keeping.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for public relations and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations governing aquatic facilities and personnel.
