Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help supervise state-of-the-art pools, both indoor and outdoor, and to assist with aquatics events. You will monitor the pool deck, maintain safety, and guest interactions with members to ensure a positive experience.

Key requirements include a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification (or bridge), BLS CPR and First Aid, and the ability to swim 300 yards, tread water, and lift more than 20 lbs. Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience
