Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to ensure safety on indoor and outdoor pools and assist with aquatics events. You will monitor the pool deck, oversee water slides, and help with activities such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

Responsibilities include greeting members, performing rescues and first aid, maintaining a safe pool area, and communicating with guests about Life Time products and services. Certification and physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuardElite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs
• 6 months of customer service experience (preferred)

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as “Dive in Movies” & “Poolapalooza.”
