Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to ensure pool safety and excellent guest service across indoor and outdoor facilities. You will oversee state-of-the-art pools, assist with water slides, and support aquatics events such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

Responsibilities include greeting Members, performing rescues and first aid, maintaining safe swim areas, and keeping the pool area clean and orderly to protect Member safety.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.
• 6 months of customer service experience.

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as "Dive in Movies" & "Poolapalooza."

Position Requirements

• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience
