Six Flags White Water in Marietta, GA is seeking a role to oversee the daily operation and support in the aquatics department.

You will have the opportunity to interview for Lead, Supervisor, or Senior Supervisor, with responsibilities including training, safety, and guest service excellence. This position offers growth opportunities within a renowned regional water park.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years aquatics experience (lifeguard, ride attendant).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Certification.
• Ability to motivate with leadership skills and oversee staff.
• Able to respond immediately and manage emergencies.
• Strong attention to detail and flexibility in scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation of the park.
• Assist with aquatics work crew projects.
• Oversee aquatics staff through training, coaching, discipline, and rewards.
• Assist with department and division training.
• Occasionally perform life guarding or ride attendant duties.
• Receive and maintain high audit ratings (Ellis and Associates).
• Collaborate with Operations to meet department and park goals.
• Uphold Guest First Standards.
• Maintain high throughput goals.
• Handle guest comments and complaints.

Job description

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operation and providing support in the aquatics department.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safe operation of the park.
• Assist with the aquatics work crew projects.
• Assisting with overseeing the aquatics staff through daily training, coaching, discipline, and rewards as necessary.
• Assisting with department and division training.
• Works an assigned life guarding / ride attendant position when necessary
• Receive and maintain a High Pass / Exceeds in all Ellis and Department Audits
• Working with Operations Staff to ensure department and park goals are achieved.
• Ensuring Guest First Standards are followed and enforced.
• Maintaining high throughput goals.
• Handling guest comments and complaints.

Payrate

$15.50 - $17.50/hr.

Qualifications

• At least 1 - 2 years of aquatics experience (lifeguard, ride attendant)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Must possess an enthusiastic and positive Guest First Orientation and enjoy working with people.
• Ability to motivate with excellent leadership skills.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must achieve, receive and maintain Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Certification.
• Outstanding performance as a team member.
• Must be able to respond immediately, adapt to, and oversee all emergency situations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 or more hours at a time. Applicants must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds.
