Job summary

Six Flags White Water is looking for a capable aquatics operations leader to oversee daily park activities and support the aquatics department. You may interview for roles such as Lead, Supervisor, or Senior Supervisor, with responsibilities spanning staff training, safety, and guest service.

The role emphasizes Guest First principles, leadership, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies in a dynamic theme-park environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 - 2 years of aquatics experience (lifeguard, ride attendant).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Must possess an enthusiastic and positive Guest First Orientation and enjoy working with people.
• Ability to motivate with excellent leadership skills.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must achieve, receive and maintain Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Certification.
• Outstanding performance as a team member.
• Must be able to respond immediately, adapt to, and oversee all emergency situations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safe operation of the park.
• Assist with the aquatics work crew projects.
• Assisting with overseeing the aquatics staff through daily training, coaching, discipline, and rewards as necessary.
• Assisting with department and division training.
• Works an assigned life guarding / ride attendant position when necessary
• Receive and maintain a High Pass / Exceeds in all Ellis and Department Audits
• Working with Operations Staff to ensure department and park goals are achieved.
• Ensuring Guest First Standards are followed and enforced.
• Maintaining high throughput goals.
• Handling guest comments and complaints.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 or more hours at a time. Applicants must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds.
