General Job Description

To provide customer service at a busy facility, communicating effectively with the public at the Cheyenne Aquatics Center.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Greet the public and answer questions in person and by phone.
  2. Provide excellent customer service.
  3. Operate computers and relevant software such as Rec Trac/Web Trac.
  4. Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately.
  5. Assist the public with facility use.
  6. Practice basic principles of general accounting and maintain a cash drawer.
  7. Operate office equipment efficiently.
  8. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  9. Manage office supply inventory.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  2. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, city officials, and the public.
  3. Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Work independently without supervision.
  • Respond effectively to public inquiries and requests.
Qualifications for the Job

Required: None

Preferred: Prior experience in customer service.

Physical Requirements

Employees must maintain physical and mental capacity to perform duties, including operating equipment, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and prolonged sitting. Effective visual and auditory perception is necessary for communication, observation, reading, and writing.

Working Environment
