Criteria
- AEA certification
- CPR and AED Certification
- Proficient oral, written, and technology communication skills (email/text)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Getting and keeping members.
- Perform duties aligned with the company's Mission, Vision, Pillars of Success, Service Standards, and Business philosophy to promote member growth, retention, and profitability.
- Providing high-quality customer service with a welcoming, friendly, energetic attitude; using members' names frequently.
- Following company Service Standards, AFF Training and Policy Manuals, and department-specific handbooks.
- Knowing and adhering to the club's emergency response protocol and acting with sound judgment prioritizing safety.
- Arriving 10 minutes early, wearing the department-specific uniform, and participating in meetings.
- Being a team player by contributing to club and organizational goals and maintaining open communication.
Additional responsibilities for Aquatic Fitness Instructor:
- Delivering safe and effective group fitness classes with appropriate modifications.
- Staying current with AFF certifications, including CPR/AED and specialty certifications, and providing proof to the AM.
- Participating in AFF education, workshops, and trainings.
- Arriving 10 minutes early for classes, assisting with setup, providing thorough introductions, teaching programs, and staying after for cleanup and member engagement.
- Starting and ending classes on time, following scheduled formats.
- Motivating members and team with positive encouragement in a non-competitive environment.
- Completing administrative tasks accurately and timely.
- Responding within 24 hours to communications from team leaders and instructors.
- Following procedures for substitutions and equipment needs.
- Wearing appropriate attire to project a professional image.
