Reports to: Aquatic Manager (AM)
Criteria
- AEA certification
- CPR and AED Certification
- Proficient oral, written, and technology communication skills (email/text)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Getting and keeping members
- Perform duties according to company standards, mission, vision, and policies, aiming for member growth, retention, and profitability
- Providing high-quality customer service with a welcoming attitude, using members' names when possible
- Following company service standards and training manuals
- Knowing emergency response protocols and prioritizing safety
- Arriving 10 minutes early, wearing uniform
- Participating in meetings and contributing as a team player
- Maintaining open communication with the team
Additional responsibilities for Aquatic Fitness Instructors include:
- Delivering safe and effective group fitness classes with appropriate modifications
- Staying current with certifications and providing proof to the AM
- Participating in education and training opportunities
- Arriving early for classes, setting up, teaching, and cleaning up
- Starting and ending classes on time, following defined formats
- Motivating members and team, fostering a positive environment
- Completing administrative tasks accurately and promptly
- Responding to communication within 24 hours
- Finding qualified substitutes and reporting equipment issues
- Wearing appropriate attire to maintain a professional image
