Objective

Responsible for delivering a world-class aquatic fitness experience grounded in teamwork and outstanding customer service to our members, guests, company, and community.

Reports to

Aquatic Manager (AM)

Team Member Responsibilities

• To Get & Keep Members.
• Perform duties according to the company's Mission, Vision, Pillars of Success, Service Standards, and Business philosophy, focusing on member growth, retention, and club profitability.
• Provide high-quality customer service with a welcoming and positive attitude, using members' names often.
• Follow the company Service Standards, AFF Training and Policy Manuals, and department-specific handbooks.
• Know the club's emergency response protocol and act accordingly, prioritizing safety.
• Arrive 10 minutes early and wear the department-specific uniform.
• Participate in all department and club meetings.
• Be a team player and contribute to organizational goals.
• Maintain open and honest communication with the team.

Additional Responsibilities for Aquatic Fitness Instructor

• Deliver safe and effective group fitness classes with appropriate modifications.
• Stay current with AFF-approved certifications, including CPR/AED and specialty certifications, providing updated copies to the AM.
• Participate in AFF-recommended education, workshops, and trainings.
• Arrive 10 minutes early for classes, assist with setup, introduce the class, teach programs, and stay after for cleanup and member engagement.
• Begin and end classes on time, following scheduled formats.
• Motivate members and team, fostering a positive environment.
• Complete all administrative tasks accurately and timely.
• Respond within 24 hours to email, text, or phone requests from team members.
• Follow procedures for finding substitutes and inform the AM of equipment needs.
• Wear appropriate attire to maintain a professional image.
