Job summary

YMCA of Middle TN in Nashville is seeking an Aquatics Director to develop and implement safe, high-quality aquatic programs for members and guests, in cooperation with other YMCA staff under the Executive Director.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, inspire a service culture, manage pool operations, test and handle chemicals, and ensure confidentiality and safety while maintaining a professional image.

• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint and standard office equipment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; minimum age 21.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safe, high quality aquatic programs for members and guests.
• Operate in cooperation with other YMCA staff under the direction of the Executive Director.
• Oversee pool operations and pool chemical testing; Pool Operator certification preferred.
