Job summary

Glacial Community YMCA in Oconomowoc, WI is seeking a full-time Aquatics Coordinator to lead our aquatic programs, supervise staff, and drive safe, engaging experiences for members and participants.

The role is 40 hours per week, with about 25% admin duties and the rest direct service; flexible scheduling and availability during branch hours are required to support programs and events. Certifications LGI and WSI must be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Work experience in aquatics programming/environment is required.
• Certifications LGI and WSI and related safety trainings must be obtained within 90 days.
• Willingness to attend meetings and pursue additional certifications as requested.

Responsibilities

• Assist director with administration of aquatic programs and services.
• Supervise lifeguards and aquatics staff; ensure safety and compliance.
• Develop and grow aquatic programming to meet member needs.
• Coordinate program delivery and member services during branch hours.

The Aquatics Coordinator position is a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week which includes approximately 25% time spent on administrative duties and majority of time serving members and participants. Qualified candidates must be flexible with weekly scheduling and be available to work during days and hours of branch operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
