Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Wisconsin seeks an Aquatics Attendant to ensure a clean, safe and enjoyable experience for guests using the slide and splash play areas. You will enforce rules, supervise on deck, and assist with lifejackets to maintain a welcoming environment for families.

Responsibilities include safety monitoring, height checks, proper slide technique instruction, and daily area maintenance. Flexible scheduling up to 18 hours per week is available.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse guests and co-workers in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Kroc Center rules to keep the area safe for guests.
• Provide constant safety supervision for patrons using the slide and splash area.
• Assist children with height checks and enforce safety policies.
• Explain correct slide techniques to guests and observe for unsafe behavior.
• Notify lifeguards of any weak swimmers or potential hazards.
• Assist guests with putting on lifejackets as needed.
• Help with daily cleaning and maintenance of pool and surrounding area.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or hazards promptly.
