Job summary

Avera St. Luke's in Aberdeen, SD, is seeking a PRN Aquatic Center Coordinator to support daily operations in the Therapy Center. The role focuses on coordinating facility usage for aquatic therapy services, ensuring safety, and assisting therapists with patient care and program scheduling.

You will help maintain equipment, document safety practices, and support ongoing staff training. A Lifeguard certification is required or provided onsite, and High School diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily use of pools for aquatic therapy services and community programs.
• Assist therapists in planning and scheduling aquatic therapy activities and goals with the Leader.
• Coordinate training/orientation on safety techniques, equipment, and research findings to staff and document appropriately.
• Assist in patient care within the aquatic center as requested by therapists.
• Maintain quality and safety records, equipment, and maintenance schedules for the aquatic center.
• Ensure compliance with safety principles and regulatory requirements and communicate across departments.
