Job summary

Responsibilities include rescues, first aid, water testing, and reporting. Position requires Lifeguard License and a commitment to equity, with shifts including holidays, weekends, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard License required.
• Water Safety Instructor desired.
• Ability to follow established procedures, policies and protocol.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguards and scans assigned zone of protection.
• Enforces rules and performs proper rotation.
• Provides safety assistance, rescues, emergency actions and first aid when necessary.
• Monitors facility users with priority on safety and customer service.
• Reports hazardous conditions to supervisor promptly.
• Maintains in-service hours and supports audits.
• Assists with accident reports, water testing, program registration, and swim lesson records.
• Teaches and assists with lessons, swim team, and events.
• Supervises and ensures safe operation of aquatic programs.
