Job summary

Borough of Chambersburg is seeking a Recreation and Aquatic Center Supervisor to lead the department's programs and Aquatic Center operations, under the Recreation Director. The role oversees staff hiring/training and ensures safe, high-quality day-to-day operations with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in Lifeguarding & Lifeguard Management.
• Associate degree in Recreation, Sports Management, or related field.
• CPO, First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Administration certifications.
• Experience with cash handling and program administration.

• Oversee all Recreational Programs and Aquatic Center operations.
• Lead hiring, training, and supervision of seasonal staff.
• Manage league scheduling and officiating support.
• Ensure safety compliance and high-quality customer service.
