Job summary

Causeway Club in Southwest Harbor, Maine seeks an Aquatic Director to lead the Club's swimming program and staff, reporting to the Director of Pool & Tennis. The role preserves club traditions while growing participation in pool activities, with potential swim instruction components.

Responsibilities include managing operations, enforcing guest policies, coordinating events, and overseeing youth programming and merchandise activities.

Qualifications

• LifeGuard & CPR certification required.
• Experience in all areas of responsibility listed above.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact with the membership and community.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level service to members and their guests.
• Create and assist in overseeing a growing youth program.
• Interpret and enforce Club Guest Policies and Rules.
• Coordinate with DOPT and assist with member events and tournaments.
• Oversee daily operations in the Pool & Tennis area.
• Maintain strong relationships with staff.
• Coordinate with DOPT for purchase and sale of snack shack and merchandise.
• Assist in preparing the Club calendar of events.
• Maintain equipment and grounds/facilities upkeep.
