Spire Orthopedic Partners in Old Saybrook, CT, is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join our aquatic and general PT program. You will conduct evaluations, develop prescribed therapy plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to restore function and improve patient outcomes.

The role requires a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and CT licensure or eligibility, with 1–2 years orthopedic-focused experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid Connecticut state Physical Therapy license or CT licensure eligibility.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills.
• Orthopedic-focused PT experience: 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and prescribed therapy programs to assist patient participation in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical performance.
• Develop aquatic physical therapy programs to promote recovery and return to function.
• Document evaluations, progress, and discharge plans with updated goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and referrals.
• Schedule patients, manage charges and maintain accurate documentation.
