Hospital for Special Care's Aquatic Center is seeking an Aquatic Center Supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure safety in alignment with ARC guidelines. You will oversee program development, staff scheduling and quality assurance.

This role combines hands-on lifeguarding and instruction with leadership responsibilities, offering opportunities to mentor staff and enhance inclusive programs across departments.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED cert is required.
• Lifeguard Instructor cert or ability to obtain within six months.
• WSI certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the Program Manager in the leadership and operational oversight of the Aquatic and Fitness Center, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, policies, safety practices, and industry standards.
• Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of aquatic programs while promoting a safe, high-quality participant experience.
• Provides leadership support to aquatic staff through training, mentoring, coaching, and performance oversight to ensure consistent program delivery.
• Ensures compliance with Hospital for Special Care policies, American Red Cross standards, and aquatic safety procedures through effective monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Provides direct aquatic services, including lifeguarding, lifeguard instruction, and swim instruction, as needed to support program operations.
