Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess effective communication skills.
• Possess current CPR and Lifeguard certifications with the Red Cross.
• Ability to work part time evenings and some weekends.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds to waist level on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Oversees lifeguards, assistant managers, and support staff to ensure staffing coverage.
• Opens and closes the facility, ensuring readiness for activities.
• Inspects swimming pools, decks, equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Verifies staff certifications and ensures safe practices.
• Provides supervision and performance feedback to staff.
• Communicates staffing needs to the Aquatic Center Coordinator.
