Job summary

Park Hill is seeking an Aquatic Center Manager - Part Time, approx 25 hours per week, with a minimum pay of $19.28 per hour. You will provide on‑site leadership, supervise lifeguards, coordinate facility use, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and service quality across daily operations.

You will report to the Aquatic Center Coordinator and supervise staff, manage incidents, and maintain essential records. A strong customer‑facing attitude and real‑time decision skills are required.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification is required.
• Lifeguard Instructor certification is required.
• Maintains all required certifications and participates in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• On-site supervisor for aquatic center operations during shifts.
• Oversee lifeguards and staff to ensure coverage and safety.
• Adjust staffing in real time to manage call‑ins and fluctuations.
• Open and close the facility and ensure readiness for activities.
• Inspect pools, decks, and equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, health codes, and policies.
• Respond to emergencies and document follow‑up actions.
• Communicate needs and issues to the Aquatic Center Coordinator.
• Maintain records, attendance, incident reports, and logs.
