Newport Aquarium in Newport, KY is seeking a part-time interpreter to deliver engaging, educational programs for guests. You will present information clearly to groups, use interpretive techniques, and interact with guests around interactive tanks and animals.

The role requires strong public speaking, a friendly personality, and flexibility to work weekends and evenings. On-site position with Newport Aquarium’s standards and safety policies observed daily.

Qualifications

• Must have strong public speaking skills.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate interpretive skills through programming.
• Facilitate guest interactions with ambassador animals.
• Conduct programs following a set outline.
• Present information to large groups using a microphone.
• Share conservation messaging with guests clearly.
• Uphold Newport Aquarium's core values and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Operations leadership.
