Job summary

The State of Georgia, Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services - Adult Protective Services, seeks an APS Central Intake Specialist to gather referral information by phone, written reports, or in person. You will determine if the case meets APS criteria and coordinate potential interventions across Georgia.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel statewide as needed.

• Ability to work under general supervision and make sound judgments.

Responsibilities

• Gathers referral information from reporters via phone, written reports, or in person.
• Assess referral information to determine APS criteria and whether intervention is needed.
• Document findings in Harmony and prepare investigations or interventions as appropriate.
