KBR, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to serve as Site Manager for the APS-3 program at Goose Creek, SC.

The role leads operations, maintenance and logistics, coordinating with the customer and managing a large workforce under a cost-plus contract. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in a related field with at least 7 years in management, strong communication, and the ability to obtain and maintain a CAC and base access.

We strive to create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, both domestically and internationally.**Job Summary**This position supports the Army Prepositioned Stocks – Afloat (APS-3) Program and the Presidential Drawdown (PD) mission located in Goose Creek, SC on Naval Weapons Station Charleston/Joint Base Charleston. The Program Manager (PM) serves as the Site Manager at AFSBn-CHS and single overall manager and the point of contact for all contractor operations and management functions. As the deputy to the program manager, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Army maintenance and/or supply operations in uniform or as a contractor – technical schooling or experience with US Army Logistics Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) is a plus. The Deputy Program Manager must have strong oral/written communication skills and must have experience managing a large workforce under a Cost-Plus contract or similar environment.**Roles and Responsibilities*** The Deputy Program Manager will be primarily responsible for the Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics Departments with overall planning and coordination of APS-3 ship “maintenance cycles” – download support; port support activities; reception; accountability; maintenance; reconstitution; staging; convoy to wharf; port support activity; and upload support.* Manage all logistics, maintenance, and readiness for APS-3 unit sets and other assigned equipment in GCSS-A* Manages the process of compiling, analyzing and interpreting statistical data related to contract operations and initiates and manages corrective actions.* Assist in the planning coordination and successful completion of actions related to the Performance Work Statement (PWS).* Develops and maintains a strong effective relationship with the customer acting as primary interface for current and future operations planning and execution.* Participates in planning processes with customer providing input on matters related to the responsibility inherent in the contract.* Ensures submission of required reports and CDRL reports to the customer and receives required reports from site managers and program management staff.* Ensures compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards as they pertain to the entire program.* Promotes a Zero Harm safety culture.* Performs other related duties as assigned.**Basic Qualifications*** **Must be a U.S. Citizen.*** **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)*** **Must obtain and maintain local base access.*** **Must possess a valid State Driver’s License.*** Must have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management, Production Management, Operations Management, or Business Management or engineering field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering).
