Job summary

Griffin hospital is seeking an Outpatient Psych APRN to join our team of clinicians dedicated to patient-centered care. This role provides comprehensive psychiatric services in an outpatient setting with structured visit times, including MD supervision and APRN peer supervision.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Nursing with a psych/mental health focus, CT licensure, and ANCC certification; APRN credential is required to practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in psych/mental health APRN.
• CT licensure to practice psychiatry/mental health as APRN.
• ANCC certification required; APRN credential required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric/mental health services to outpatients.
• Perform 30-minute follow-ups and 60-minute evaluations.
• Work with MD supervision and APRN peer supervision.
• Participate in a patient-centered care approach to promote healing.
