Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with ENT clinic operations and organize patient visits.
  • Perform clinical assessments and care coordination across inpatient and outpatient settings.

  • Manage prescriptions and see new and follow-up patients in the outpatient clinic.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care, implement treatment plans, and document results in critical care systems.

Job description

  • Assist physicians with ENT clinic operations
  • Organize patient visits and perform clinic procedures
  • Work independently and collaboratively with supervising physicians across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Perform clinical assessments and assist with care coordination
  • Answer MyChart and in-basket messages
  • Respond to patient questions and phone calls
  • Manage prescriptions
  • See new and follow-up patients in the outpatient clinic
  • Follow up on pathology and imaging
  • Provide comprehensive patient education and appropriate follow-up
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat actual and potential patient problems
  • Coordinate specialized, multidisciplinary care and facilitate patient consults
  • Implement treatment plans and prescribe medical treatments in collaboration with the designated physician
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals as a resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate
  • Manage post-procedure immunosuppression and patient labs with the physician and pharmacist
  • Participate in institutional initiatives
  • Collaborate in policy and program development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Edit and document results in critical care systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • APRN: Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • APRN: Three years of nursing experience
  • APRN: Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas
  • APRN: APRN License
  • PA: Master's Education
  • PA: PA Licensure
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
  • License or Certificate required for application
  • Pre-employment screening, including criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification
