Job summary

ShopRite of Timonium in Lutherville-Timonium, MD, seeks an Appy/Deli Clerk to support the Appy/Deli Manager in daily department operations and to keep displays neat and appealing. You will perform duties safely and efficiently per store policies to deliver a great customer experience.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate food service equipment, and work in varying temperatures while providing friendly service to shoppers. Training and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills required.
• Operate department equipment (slicer, scale, wrapping machine, etc.).
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; stand for full shifts.

Responsibilities

• Use a slicing machine and related equipment.
• Replenish Appy/Deli product.
• Prepare Appy/Deli product for sale.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, preparing, storing, pricing, and restocking to ensure quality and rotation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Unload and transport merchandise to the Appy/Deli Department up to 50 lbs.
