Job summary

HITT Contracting seeks a Craft Workforce Development Manager to lead and elevate a multi-state registered apprenticeship program across electrical, pipefitting, carpentry, and sheet metal trades. You will ensure rigorous instruction, hands-on learning, mentorship, and clear career pathways while meeting audit-ready compliance requirements.

The role combines program leadership with operational discipline to expand access to skilled trades and build sustainable pipelines for the company’s growth

Qualifications

• This role requires strong apprenticeship and workforce development expertise.
• Ability to manage a registered apprenticeship program across multiple states.
• Experience building scalable training and mentorship pathways.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the registered apprenticeship program across states, projects and trades.
• Establish governance, policies, procedures, and workflows for program alignment with partners.
• Lead the Apprenticeship Program Committee and ensure documentation and decisions are followed through.
• Own the apprentice lifecycle from enrollment to completion with standardized processes.
• Coordinate delivery with operations, instructors, and partners to align with workforce needs.
• Develop and manage the annual program budget and explore funding opportunities.
• Establish KPIs for enrollment, retention, progression, completion, and cost.
• Build a scalable operating model to expand into additional states and trades.
