Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Software Quality Engineer student to join the Process & Quality Assurance activities within the Software Development Tools team. You will help master quality methods, deploy approach, and monitor KPIs, while providing guidelines and documentation to strengthen process across the team.

Excellent English communication, strong organizational skills, and collaborative spirit are encouraged as ST drives ethical, inclusive, and innovative tech globally.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of software development processes.
• Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, cybersecurity, OSS licenses).
• Knowledge of KPI and risk management concepts.
• Knowledge of development methodologies like V-Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile.
• Good English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Strong documentation, writing and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Master Quality Methods and Tools approach principles, policies and strategy.
• Contribute to Quality Methods and Tools activities to deploy defined approach.
• Ensure Continuous improvement to enhance the overall team way of working.
• Provide needed documentation (guidelines, templates, procedures) to reinforce process.

Within Software Development Tools Process & Quality Assurance team, you will contribute to Process & Quality Assurance activities:

• Master Quality Methods and Tools approach principles, policies and strategy
• Contribute to Quality Methods and Tools activities to deploy defined approach
• Ensure Continuous improvement to enhance the overall team way of working
• Provide needed documentation (guidelines, templates, procedures...) to reinforce process
• Monitor and follow-up of defined approach through different indicators (KPIs)
• Support the team on different tasks and questions related to deployed approach

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

Software Quality Engineer student:

• Knowledge of software development processes
• Knowledge of Quality standard (ISO standard, Cybersecurity, License for open source...)
• Knowledge of Quality concepts like KPIs, Risk management...
• Knowledge of standard development methodologies like V-Cycle, Waterfall and Agile.
• Good experience of software skills (installation, configuration, maintenance)
• Very good English skills (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Strong documentation, writing and reporting skills.
• Multi-tasker, independent, punctual, and accurate with excellent organizational skills
• Team oriented, collaborative, good personal relationships
